Sage ERP X3 is built on the Sage Application Framework for the Enterprise platform (SAFE X3). This SOA/Web-native platform provides users with best-in-class collaboration capabilities in either client/server or Web mode, as well as an integrated business intelligence engine and data warehouse by Business Objects™, a flexible 2nd generation workflow engine, and includes a 4GL development environment for enterprise-specific developments or custom vertical applications by VARs.

 

Sage ERP X3’s multi-tier architecture scales up to 1,100 users and benchmarks up to 1,500 users. The system runs equally well on Windows, Unix (AIX) or Linux (Red Hat) with either Oracle 11g or Microsoft SQL 2008 databases.
