Inventory Control

Inventory Control is one of the foundational building blocks of the Solarsoft iVP solution, allowing for creating and defining parts - purchased, WIP or finished goods - and providing the ability to define specific replenishment criteria, using e-Kanban, minimum balance (safety stock) and demand fulfillment (build-to-order) requirements. Multi-plant integration with Production Control, General Ledger, Purchasing and Order Processing enables real-time enterprise-wide inventory tracking.

Reorder logic globally or by plant or warehouse; item and WIP balances are maintained in real-time; tracks material allocations and shortages by item, work order or job; multi-warehouse location planning by item; RF control and dispatch of materials handlers; support for fixed and random warehouse locations; transaction history reporting and inquiries; material issued for allocated components based on BOM quantity; automatically back flushing of material, labour, burden; unique sub-Lot control (coil, roll, rod, box, etc.); tracking; support for part imaging on screen with definitions; EC management and notifications with effectivity dates; consignment management (customers and vendors).
