FUZE Invigorates Business With Sage Accpac Web-Hosted Solution

FUZE, an Englewood, New Jersey-based provider of healthy, refreshing, vitamin-enriched juices, experienced tremendous growth that was fast outpacing the company’s technology infrastructure. Managing its expanding inventory, production planning, and financial reporting requirements became an increasing challenge.

To rectify the situation, FUZE turned to Pyramid Consulting Inc., a New York metro-based computer consulting firm with a well deserved reputation for providing complete, cost-effective  business solutions for the beverage industry. Pyramid Consulting recommended and implemented Sage Accpac in a Web-hosted environment in order to help FUZE fully automate its financial, inventory, and production areas. With Pyramid Consulting’s rapid implementation of Sage Accpac hosted online, FUZE received a dramatic increase in overall efficiency, plus cost savings in its hardware and communications infrastructure. Integrated Business Solution Keeps Pace With Rapid Growth Pyramid Consulting received a request from FUZE to remedy its existing business system, which was unable to keep pace with the company’s rapidly expanding production and inventory demand. FUZE chairman Joseph Rosamilia needed a comprehensive, integrated software solution that could manage financial and production reporting, order entry, inventory control, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, with seamless transfer of all data from FUZE’s existing system. Rosamilia states, “If any component of our inventory expires or is out of stock, we’re dead in the water, and our existing system didn’t have the capabilities to ensure success in this area.”
FUZE’s expansion outpaced its legacy system’s ability to manage expanding inventory, production planning, and financial reporting requirements.

FUZE implemented a Web-hosted version of the Sage Accpac accounting solution, so that they could quickly and affordably start using Sage Accpac’s advanced capabilities.

Sage 300 ERP Streamlines Operations and Saves Money

With FUZE’s budgetary constraints and urgent one-month timetable for a new, operational technology infrastructure, Pyramid Consulting recommended a Web-hosted Sage Accpac solution. A Web-hosted solution would both eliminate the need to purchase expensive hardware and significantly reduce the time to complete the implementation. With ACCPAC Online Web-hosted solutions, companies get the full advantage of Sage Accpac ERP and Sage Pro ERP industry-leading, integrated business solutions at a fraction of the cost of purchasing hardware and software, implementing network infrastructure, and maintaining and upgrading these complex systems in-house.

In just three weeks, Pyramid Consulting had completed FUZE’s implementation of Sage Accpac and had begun training FUZE’s employees. The system eliminates the risk of under- or over ordering inventory. Plus, Sage Accpac offers advanced report-writing capabilties using Crystal Reports®. The Web-hosted Sage Accpac solution allowed Pyramid Consulting to streamline the entire implementation process and to provide costeffective and timely programming work and support. At any time, if the company’s employees need assistance in a specific area of the program, Pyramid Consulting support staff can view FUZE’s data online and provide support, thereby eliminating added expenses associated with travel charges and on-site support. Joseph Rosamilia is very satisfied with the results of FUZE’s Webbased Sage Accpac solution. “Both our East and West Coast operations are enjoying the benefits of a fully integrated business automation solution. As the creator of healthful ‘Smart Age’ beverages, we felt it was a smart move to choose Sage Accpac in a Web-based environment to run our business.”
