The materials management and inventory control modules enable users to manage materials, intermediate goods, or finished goods on the basis of defined characteristics such as shelf-life, pH, moisture content, and potency level.
A Data Collection Module is included for the real time scanning of bar code labels for all inventory related transactions to improve the accuracy of inventory with current up to date inventory balances and records.
Integrated with Inventory, Process Planning/MRP, Maintenance Management and Accounts Payable, the Purchasing Module creates Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders based to replenish inventory based on requirements and/or min/max inventory levels. Approval process of Requisitions is included. Blanket Purchase Orders are also supported.
Receiving of Purchase Orders with Supplier Returns is used for 3 way matching of Supplier Invoices. Matched and Approved invoices are then available in Accounts Payable for supplier payment.

Process Planning
The Planning module provides you with the capability to develop Production Plans based upon Demand (Sales Orders and/or Sales Forecasts) and Supply (Inventory balances, Jobs, and Outstanding Purchase Orders). Production Planning (MPS/RCCP) and Material Planning (MRP) are included with the ability to review and create Planning Jobs, Production Jobs, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders. Optional Advanced Planning and Scheduling module can plan production based upon material, equipment, and labor availability and optimize schedules based upon sequencing and changeover rules including allergens.
Process Manufacturing

Process Manufacturing defines the production processes, calculates and tracks product and job cost, and records all of the activities to manufacture products. Multiple Recipes/Stages of the manufacturing can be consolidated into a process flow for streamlined production. In addition, Campaigns of similar products can be setup and managed. Cost rollups of the recipe are compared to standard job cost for each lot or batch produced. All manufacturing-related activities (including issue of materials which automatically decreases inventory balances, recording of production outputs which increase inventory balances) are tracked and charged to a Job, thereby determining actual job and lot cost with variances. General Ledger journal entries automatically created for all transactions and the lot trace information is recorded from the manufacturing activities.

Sales Order Processing
The Sales Order Processing module manages customer demand and fulfillment with the functions of Sales Order Entry, Picking and Shipping, and Invoicing. Return Material Authorization processing and Credit Memos are also included along with Sales Analysis and Reporting. Customers with unlimited Addresses for Shipping and Invoicing are supported, along with Statement/Parent Customers to group multiple customers/companies that are owned by the same parent.
Flexible Pricing options including Contracts, Customer Product Prices, Price Lists, and Bracket Pricing based on Volume or Quantity are included. In addition, Promotions for both on invoice discounts and post invoice accruals are automatically included in Order Entry. Credit Checking rules and alerts are included.
Either Inventory Reservations or Promises can be made at the time of Order Entry, and time-phased inventory availability is always available to view available projected inventory on the request ship date based upon Supply and Demand.
EDI for Orders, Shipments, and Invoices
Customer Specifications to match to actual lot characteristic values and remaining shelf life can be specified by the customer and/or product to select lots specific to customer requirements.
The Picking and Shipping function is very flexible in how/when orders are released for Picking. Multiple orders can be consolidated into Shipping Loads for shipment confirmation.
Invoicing is very flexible with ownership transfer at the time of shipment or time of Customer Receipt.
Return Material Authorization processing is included with flexible workflow by the customer for approvals and return receipt of materials and creation of Credit Memos.

With the General Ledger module, you define the controls for the management of financial activities within your organization. The Chart of Account structure is very flexible with the ability to define your Chart of Accounts for how you want to manage your business by defining the elements of your accounts with controls for posting and viewing by account or element. The Fiscal Calendar is controlled by you with 12 or 13 periods. Month End Close is an easy process with preview and control reports to assist you in your month-end closing and reporting. As each transaction in each module occurs, an automatic posting to the General Ledger is made, and you can see these at any time in the General Ledger with the ability to view the source transaction.
Budgets, with multiple versions can be maintained and can be reported to Actual Balances. Current period and year postings and balances can be viewed and compared.
Advanced Reporting and Budgeting
The Advanced Reporting module is where you set up the financial reports that you need to use to manage your business with an easy-to-use spreadsheet-like function for defining reports in both summary and detail with filters to view reports by company, division, cost center, location, etc. Reports can be easily scheduled and distributed. From the Financial Reports you can also view the source transactions.
The Budgeting Module allows you to easily create budgets using prior financial years and periods of actual activity as a starting point. You can easily make changes to the budget with inputs such as headcount changes/adjustments. After the budget has been developed it is used with the Advanced Reporting for comparing your actual postings to your budget.
Accounts Receivable
The Accounts Receivable module is tightly integrated with Sales Order Processing for the aging of Invoices and Credit Notes. Also due to the Sales and Shipping process information on outstanding balances and past due invoices is used for credit checking. Additionally, miscellaneous Debits and Credits can be created as well. Cash Receipts can be easily entered and applied to outstanding balances, including integration with Lockbox cash receipts. Customer Deductions can be easily recorded during cash receipt and applied to open transactions with offsetting Billbacks that can be investigated and approved or charged back to the customer.
Accounts Payable
The Accounts Payable module is tightly integrated with Purchase Order Processing for the aging of Invoices and Credit Notes. Also, non-purchase order-related invoices and credits are easily entered. Aging of Outstanding Payables is maintained and Cash Disbursements from multiple bank accounts can be created with traditional check generation or electric funds transfer.
Project Accounting
The Project Accounting module allows you to define projects with budgets. Within each project you can define various phases and sub-phases along with budgets for each as well. As transactions occur in various modules such as Purchase Orders or Invoice Entry automatically update the expenses compared to budget. At any time you can view actual expenses and commitments by project and phase as compared to the budget.
Fixed Assets
With the Fixed Assets module you can set up your assets and define the depreciation schedules for each one with General Ledger posting automatically created for depreciation.

Demand Planning and Sales Forecasting
Utilizing the Demand Planning application, you can define the various aggregation levels for forecasting by location, customer, and product to easily create and manage forecasts on weekly or monthly periods using sales history. In the event of abnormal demand history in ERP, you can make adjustments. In addition, you can also include or consider historical information from other sources as well. Utilizing statistical models, Demand Planning automatically determines the best fit model along with seasonality factors for forecasting future demand. After the System Forecast has been created you can add adjusts for events like promotions or campaigns, as well as field and customer feedback for new stores and products. You can also compare the system forecast to customer or sales-provided forecasts. Using the Forecast from Demand Planning along with Outstanding Sales Orders as Demand along with existing Inventory and Jobs as Supply, Advanced Planning and Scheduling then plans production based upon material, equipment, and labor availability and optimize equipment schedules based upon sequencing and changeover rules including allergens.
