Financial Management for CMiC Construction ERP

CMiC’s financial suite is architected so that transactions post to the general ledger and job cost simultaneously rather than through a batch sync. 

Core capabilities include general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, job costing, billing, and cash management, with construction-specific handling for retainage, lien waivers, stored materials, and progress billing formats including AIA. Revenue recognition supports percentage-of-completion methods, and work-in-progress reporting is generated from live project data rather than reconstructed at period end.

Multi-entity and multi-company structures are supported natively, including intercompany transactions, joint ventures, and consolidated reporting across operating divisions.

Construction payroll and human capital management (HCM) are part of the financial suite. Payroll is built for the jurisdictional complexity contractors face, including union agreements, fringe benefit calculations, prevailing wage requirements, certified payroll reporting, and multi-state and multi-province tax handling. HCM covers employee records, onboarding, benefits, training and certification tracking, and performance management, with certification data available to project teams verifying crew qualifications for scoped work.
