Lunera Lighting is a technology innovator, leading the transformation of traditional lighting to environmentally friendly, digital LED technology. They design, assemble and test high-performance commercial LED lighting fixtures that replace common fluorescent fixtures. Since their business was growing quickly, they knew they had to upgrade from standalone software such as QuickBooks and Excel to a more sophisticated ERP solution. LED lighting is a rapidly changing technology and we need tight control over our opportunity-to-cash process, as well as our supply chain,” says Michael Keddington, Lunera’s CEO. The rapid development and accelerated product lifecycle means Lunera must quickly launch new products and meet their operating goals. The cloud is giving them new, innovative ways to achieve this. Kenandy Connect provides a way for customers, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and employees to have a unique view into real-time information, allowing all parties to take advantage of new opportunities as they arise. Lunera uses Kenandy Connect with Salesforce Chatter to collaborate with their contract manufacturers, enhancing the flow of information throughout their supply chain. An added and unexpected bonus of Social ERP has been a new approach to connecting with our contract manufacturers,” explains Keddington.
