Automated landed costs introduce rule-based processing and validation checkpoints during purchase order receipts, reducing the manual reconciliation work that comes with tracking freight, duties, and other costs tied to incoming inventory. NetSuite also added real-time back-order alerts, which notify pickers immediately when a shortage is detected during work order processing, helping prevent delayed shipments before they happen.
